The Whiskey MANDLE recipe, rediscovered on the back of McShane’s arrest warrant, has been recreated by hand using local and imported ingredients. The recipe included mixing cognac from the French in Akaroa, rum from the captain, honey from the bookkeeper, pineapple and banana from the grocer, smoked wood chips from the fireplace and some rose perfume from Miss Lola Montez. Light it. Stare at it. Listen to the crackle of the wick and inhale the MANroma of Whiskey.
A bold and complex mix of cognac, rum, banana, pineapple, apple, grape, wine, rose, honey, cocoa and smoky wood chips enterprisingly captured in an upcycled beer bottle to preserve that unique whiskey MANroma.
Made from 100% natural soy wax this mandle has a burn time of 80+ hours.
The vessel has been filled with beer many a time and can be used to hold more beer while you decide which MANDLE you’ll man up to next.
